Gum disease

Gum disease is the worlds most common disease, and it affects the majority of adults in their lifetime.

At 2 Green Dental we try to prevent this from happening in the first place by encouraging our patients to see the hygienist and engaging with our teeth for life program.

If you are unfortunate enough to have gum disease, we treat it by manually removing the infected gums and cleaning the roots of your teeth. Don’t worry we make sure its all numb and comfortable!

This combined with helping you keep them clean at home makes us get some amazing results that often halt gum disease in their tracks.

We also now know that gum disease is linked to a range of other medical problems such as diabetes and heart disease, so we now communicate with your GP to ensure you are in tip top health as well as looking after your teeth.
